  • Golden Casket has contributed $1.5 million each year since 1992 to the Royal Children's Hospital Foundation, the Mater Children's Hospitals and a range of child-health projects throughout the State.


  • Since 1992, $19,951,000 million has been contributed via this $1.5 million donation.


  • Since 1992, $6.5 million has been received by the Royal Children's Hospital Foundation. $6.5 million has been received by the Mater Children's Hospital and $6.5 million by child health projects throughout the State.


  • To mark the 20th Anniversary of Gold Lotto, a donation of $200,000 was made to the Mater Hospitals' Trust, towards completion of the new Mater Children's Hospital in July 2001. The Golden Casket Specialist Clinics were opened within the hospital in September 2001. Naming rights to this clinic aimed to increase awareness of Golden Casket's contribution to children's health.


  • As part of Gold Lotto's 21st birthday celebrations, Gold Lotto granted 21 Starlight Foundation wishes to seriously ill children. Each wish cost around $4,000, which brought the total donation to $84,000.


  • A Gold Lotto and Winners Circle campaign raised funds in October 2001 to purchase vital equipment for the Royal Children's Hospital Cancer Ward.


  • The Child Advocacy Service Clinic opened at the Royal Children's Hospital in May 2002, in recognition of the Golden Casket funds contributed since 1992.


  • In November 2001, Golden Casket's Rainbow Kids Day, which was held throughout Golden Casket shops, raised over $64,000 for the Heart Foundation to fund the establishment of the Golden Casket Resource and Education Centre in The Prince Charles Hospital Children's ward.


  • The Golden Casket Mother's Day Appeal, run by the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital Foundation in May 2003, raised more than $200,000 to improve the health of Queensland mums and their babies. A donation of $100,000 was made to the appeal as part of celebrations to launch its "For you mum" Instant Scratch-Its ticket.


  • In April 2003, a donation of $3,000 was made to the RSPCA Queensland by the overall winner of Golden Casket's reward and recognition program, the Golden Emmy, Michele Clatworthy.


  • In February 2005, a donation of $3,000 was made to the Queensland Cancer Fund by the overall winner of Golden Casket's reward and recognition program, the Golden Emmy, Fiona McIntyre.


  • In April 2005 the Golden Casket Foundation was established to fund medical research projects in Queensland. In its inaugural year, the Foundation returned close to $1 million back to Queensland-based researchers.


  • Since 1917, Golden Casket has delivered over $2.9 billion back to Treasury, to benefit the Queensland community.
