Tradie's tough times to end thanks to $570,000 Gold Lotto win
A Tamborine tradesman’s tough times are set to end after he won just over $570,000 in Saturday night’s Gold Lotto draw.
The man, who said his professional life has suffered since the economic downturn, won $571,428.58 in the draw.
He was unaware of his division one win until he was contacted by Golden Casket this morning.
“Crikey! I had no idea,” the man said.
“I’m feeling a bit shakey. I have butterflies.”
He said that while he has no immediate plans on how he’ll spend his prize, the win will make life a lot easier after his recent tough times.
He purchased his winning Jumbo 36 game Quick Pick from newsXpress Browns Plains.
There were seven winners in Saturday night’s Gold Lotto draw. There were three winners from Queensland and one each from Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia.
The winning numbers were 45, 8, 6, 36, 18 and 20. The supplementary numbers were 39 and 29.
